Collaborative Learning - Wananga

Students were involved in some collaborative learning today. The topic was "Wananga". Students were split into groups and given a set of Questions based on Wananga and Collaborative learning. The main objective is that students feel comfortable and are able to contribute without being criticized. Students understand that it is ok to make mistakes, because we can create a supportive learning environment for them. A topic will be introduced most weeks and students can give their honest opinions about that topic, knowing that we live in a world of diversity. Some awesome feedback today. Nga Mihi Turanganui Taonga.
